Notebook

Moving a serviceberry, remembering an old friend, and beginning a native garden.

Grief for lost fields, and a small garden offered as shelter.

Seed trays, uncertainty, and the quiet lessons of failure.

Returning snow and the small lives waiting beneath last year’s leaves and stems.

Wildflowers, cobalt waves, and warm memories carried on a spring breeze.
